I was born in NYC to an American dad and a Japanese mom and
spent my childhood and adolescent years living in Tokyo and NYC, two cities that I call home. My career has spanned across cities - Durham, Chicago, Tokyo, San Francisco and I am now back in NYC where I began my training and career in coaching.
My coaching philosophy is rooted in my desire to empower others. Very often we don’t pursue our goals because we are filled with doubt. I understand what it’s like to feel at loss in life - because of a personal or professional challenge - or overwhelmed by options and commitments. I know the frustration, hesitancy, insecurity and anxiety that situation can provoke along with excitement, desire and hope for change. As a coach, I will invest time to understand and celebrate your strengths, bring awareness to your blind spots, give you feedback, and challenge you to push yourself. With my deep commitment and empathy, I will help you feel empowered to reach your full potential, and most importantly fulfillment in life.
It’s a lot of work to do this all by yourself - let me be your partner in helping you succeed!
SERVICES
Making change doesn’t happen overnight, so I’m committed to working with you over multiple coaching sessions to achieve real results. We will work together over several months to build trust in the coaching relationship and to go through the reflection, experimentation and realization of the changes you want to bring to your life.
An initial 30-minute complimentary consultation is followed by a 12-session package spread over six months. Additionally, clients can book a personality assessment debrief session (e.g., Hogan assessment) as a separate 60 minute session.

Sessions are offered by phone, online via Zoom or in-person in Durham, NC.

Note: As a professional working in the nonprofit sector, I feel passionate about supporting those working for causes and social change. I reserve part of my time for sliding scale and pro bono coaching to selected organizations looking for a coach to support their employees and/or people who work in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
